Day 3 by Leigh
Today we hit the Sierra Nevadas and it brought us a flute toting, sword making, former presidential vocalist entertainer who sang Joe a happy birthday. Today we tried our own route for better or worse and now camping off the Mormon Immigrant Trail around 7000 elevation, stealth camping that is. Forgot to mention we all started with flats in our tires.. Again. Flat total equals 9. But we remain on schedule and hope to make it to Kirkwood by lunch so we can assist Joe in cheering on the bulldawgs.
Not a joke.. We have been buying Joe stuff today and he received birthday wishes just to realize today is the 4th and his bday is tomorrow…save the whiskey I guess
